The main input for the digital transformation journey is a well-defined strategy, linked to the company’s strategy. The journey seeks to increase the company’s digital maturity. However, apart from the monetary resources necessary for investments, attention should be paid to the development of training or enablers to sustain the journey and increase digital maturity. Below is a list of skills that must be developed or acquired along the journey: culture change, agility, innovation and technology management, governance and technology management, data strategy, sourcing strategy, portfolio management, programs and projects, competencies and skills of personnel, leadership, practices of exponential organizations, architecture, and technology services. To move from one stage to another in digital maturity, some skills must be developed or acquired.
