How to be an Exam Developer
1. What types of partnerships does BTCertiCentre have?
BTCertiCentre has three categories of partners, namely:
- Accredited Training
- Organization – ATO
- Accredited Individual Training Provider – AITP
- Exam Developer
2. What is an ATO - Accredited Training Organization?
ATO is a training organization dedicated to certification courses and other professional development courses.
They can be dedicated divisions within multi-purpose organizations.
ATO has the competence and ability to offer certification courses to the market and to have compatible facilities and the means to offer distance learning certification courses.
3. What is an AITP - Accredited Individual Training Provider?
They are individuals who are instructors for certification courses.
AITP has the competence, the skill and the experience to teach courses in preparation for certification.
They are instructors previously certified in the subject proposed to teach the courses.
4. What is a Exam Developer?
Exam Developer is the one who wants to develop exams for a topic or area related to Business Transformation.
5. What are the benefits of being a BTCertiCentre partner?
For ATO´s and AITP´s the possibility of offering preparation courses for certificates in their area of expertise or for the whole world, generating yet another revenue opportunity for the business.
For Exam Developer to gain ownership rights to the exam while it is valid. These rights represent a percentage of the exam’s market price.
6. What are the requirements to be an ATO?
- Organization time in the training market;
- Financial health of the organization;
- Existence of other Accreditations that the candidate already has for certification courses;
- Adequacy of facilities for classroom courses;
- Adequacy of distance learning courses;
- Body and qualification of associate instructors;
- Employ certified instructors in courses the organization are interested in hosting.
7. What are the requirements to be an Exam Developer?
The requirements to qualify to develop exams are:
Mandatory:
- Undergraduate
- Minimum experience of 5 years on the exam topic.
Desirable (is a plus):
- Master’s or doctoral degree or post-graduation
- Academic experience as a teacher for undergraduate courses (minimum of 5 years)
